Normandy WW2 Tour – 2026

For 2026 we are introducing a tour across the wonderful Normandy countryside and taking in the key WW2 landing beaches, memorials and sites of interest.

Monday 11 May: Travel day. Meet at Caen/Ouistreham Port 15:00 (local time), ride to Hotel de la Poste in Mortain – approx 2 hours. Time permitting there will be an option to ride a section of fire trail. Check in, dinner at hotel.
Tuesday 12 May: The D-Day Landing Beaches. Ride through the fantastic Norman countryside, along the route stopping at Reyes Commonwealth Cemetery, the British Memorial, Aromanches les Bains for a restaurant lunch, Longues sur Mer, Omaha Beach, American Cemetery and the amazing Overlord Museum. Dinner at hotel/local restaurant.
Wednesday 13 May: Uboats! A longer & thrilling ride to St Nazaire (or Loreint) Uboat base, (packed) lunch in a very unusual place, step in to a real submarine. In the afternoon riders can plan their own route back to the hotel for dinner.
Thursday 14th May: The Cotentin Peninsula. A morning coastal ride, (packed) lunch at a secret German position with views across the Atlantic Ocean to Alderney & Sark. In the afternoon a visit to Crizbec Batterie & Utah Beach. Dinner at hotel/local restaurant.
Friday 15th May: Travel day. Goodbyes and return to UK.
Breakfast served each morning at the hotel. Coffee stops both mid morning & afternoon.
Rooms per night (based on four nights):
Classic: 91€ inc breakfast
Comfort: 103€ inc breakfast
Superior: (limited availability) 126€ inc breakfast
Evening dinner/lunch not included – although riders may choose a pre-made packed lunch provided by the hotel for 10€.
Riders pay for their own ferry crossing & admission to all attractions. 30€ contribution each to coffee funds, any surplus will go to Kent Air Ambulance.
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure the booking.
Crit Air sticker is not needed, but UK sticker a legal requirement.

Whilst our Tours / Wizzes are open to all; we do have some safety criteria that you must meet. So before you come forward and to avoid disappointment please read our Preparing for a Tour and ensure you are comfortable with the advice and that you do or will meet the criteria.
